Contrary to popular belief, maternity clothes do not need to be old overalls, grandma-looking floral dresses, or anything overly conservative. It almost seems like there are these unspoken rules around maternity clothes and what they should and shouldn’t look like, but in reality you can wear whatever you want! Pregnant or not.
There seems to be something in the air this year with all of our favorite female celebrities getting pregnant, and I am totally here for it! I’m here for it for multiple different reasons, one of them being how these female icons are redefining maternity style and what it can look like.Â
Â
Hailey Bieber
Let’s start with Hailey Bieber’s maternity style, because it’s one of my favorites. Hailey does not shy away from flaunting her baby bump, instead she uses it to her advantage in styling outfits. She has been seen wearing dainty crop tops that rest perfectly above her bump, see-through black tops that make pregnancy look sexy again, gold dresses that fully embrace the shape of the baby bump, as well as lounge clothes like oversized t-shirts and baggy jeans. She really does it all!
Sofia Richie
Similar to her “non-maternity” style, Sofia Richie has opted for a timeless, elegant approach to her maternity style…and no one does timeless and elegant like Sofia Richie. Sofia’s maternity style vibe is quiet luxury. She elevates everyday pieces with accessories and layering. Oversized coats, neutral tones, form-fitting basics, statement sunglasses, sleek boots, you name it and she has made it look good.
Rihanna
Ahhh, Rihanna, the icon herself. Of course she is rocking maternity fashion, we would expect nothing less from her! Much like her music, Rihanna’s maternity style is bold and audacious. For Rihanna, think crop tops and low-rise jeans, sheer dresses, and body-con jumpsuits. Never one to shy away from a statement, she also incorporates vintage pieces, luxurious fabrics, and accessories galore.

I have been loving keeping up with the pregnancy journeys of these iconic women, and if I could send any of them one of our Rumbly boxes as a thank you for making pregnancy cool again, I would! I would of course sign them up for the monthly subscription box, but I would also send them each one of our Modern Mom-to-be Boxes.
I would love to send one to you too, if you want it! Click here to get yours.Â
Pregnancy and motherhood should always be celebrated, that’s what Rumbly is all about.
Sending hugs,
